Debra was referred through our partner, Union Gospel Mission (UGM).

Debra is a single mom who works full-time. She needs a car to get to and from work, get her daughter to school and daycare, as well as shopping, appointments, and taking her daughter out to do things. Her car broke down and Rides for a Reason was able to find her an amazing vehicle for her and her daughter at a very affordable price.

Abby, our RIDES program manager, stated, "I have been honored to work with Debra. She exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated hard worker. She cares about doing her job well and providing for herself and her daughter. Kirsten [at UGM] has also been an incredible mentor for Debra throughout this process and it has been wonderful getting to know the both of them. I can't wait to see Debra continue to succeed!"

Debra stated that if it wasn't for Rides for a Reason, she would have ended up losing her job due to lack of transportation. She thanks Rides for a Reason so much for helping her obtain safe transportation for her and her daughter.
