We had been waiting for a good candidate to come into the picture for the vehicle generously donated by Mureleen Benton (Sunrise Rotary Club Director and Rotary Foundation Chair), when along came Haylee, a resilient single mom working to restart her life after getting out of her past living situation.

The barrier of not having reliable transportation was impacting her ability to get to work each day.

Working with our incredible partners at Mountain West Bank and Lake City Auto Care, we were able to wrap everything up over the course of about a week, just in time for Christmas 2025.

Haylee was then able to move into her own apartment for herself and her daughter. She is working and has plans to work towards further education at some point.

She has connected with the North Idaho College Center for New Directions and is taking it one day at a time.
